Organic vs. Biodynamic

Organic is a cultivation in which there is NO USE OF CHEMICAL AGENTS (fertilizers, pesticides and herbicide – Products of chemical synthesis).

When talking about biodynamic, in addition to being an organic cultivation, the “Biodynamic Calendar” is used (It is the base of the agricultural method: throughout each day of the year the optimal time for working the different parts of the vineyard –leaves, root, fruit- is established with astronomical accuracy, considering the Planetary Constellations, the Moon and the Sun.)

The plants are fertilized with natural treatments of animal origin (compost), and plagues are controlled with vegetable homeopathic treatments (preventing bacteria, fungus and insects). We always bare in mind the principle of union among man, plants, animals and earth.
